I have had a long career in art, both teaching and painting. I hope you find my posts informative. Tuesday, December 13, 2016. I have always painted flowers, but never really got hold of peonies. Yet, if there is a request for a painting, you find out what they look like exactly! The request to paint peonies for a bridal tea, was only the start. It led to many peony paintings and I am probably addicted to the subject now.

Monday, 26 November 2012. A dry Sunday and no plans except to go out and about locally and try once more to sketch in gouache.
